I wish I could tell you I had the most exciting day ever. But, that would just be a complete and total lie. But I will tell you about my day anyways. It started off badly because my dad insisted on taking me driving. I'm not a bad driver or anything but I HATE driving with the BURNING PASSION OF A THOUSAND SUNS! It is just too much stress. Just thinking about it makes me feel sick. When I think about driving it seems so silly that I get so stressed out about it. I mean, everyone drives! How hard can it be? I know some people in my grade that are complete idiots and they drive. I'm smart, I'm responsible. You would think driving would be pretty easy and stress free. Right? Wrong oh so wrong.
So, once I was done with driving practice my dad had to drive me out to my work to check the schedule. Which was not bad but I just don't want to think about work either because that is almost more stressful to me than driving. My job isn't hard or anything, but I just started so everything is still pretty new to me. Plus there is soooo much to remember. I have to know how to make everything, and I have to know where to find everything in case we are running low. And ahhhh! Just too much stress.
Later things got a bit better for me though. I met up with Abby and we went to the high school to put stuff into our lockers and just check where our classes were, and what not. When we walked into the school we saw a box that said Free Locker Mates. Now, I am never one to turn down free stuff, and I didn't have a locker mate last year so I thought, "I can see if it fits and if it doesn't no harm, no foul". So Abby and I went to my locker first. We opened it and I looked at my locker and looked at the locker mate. There was no way I thought I could possibly fit it in so I just didn't even try. I made it through last year without one I could go this year without one too. But Abby, that was a whole different story. She was determined to fit her locker mate into her locker. Even if it killed her. So we pushed and pulled and yanked and sweat and when we finally got it in...we had to take it out because we had put it in wrong. And let me tell you it was no treat getting that stupid locker mate out. But, we did successfully extract the locker mate from the lockers steel jaws and place it properly in the locker. Blood, sweat, and tears. But it was worth it. I guess?

Trapped in Target
So the other day me and my best friend Abby went to Target to get school supplies. It happened to be really rainy but we didn't think much of it at the time. So after spending a very extended time walking around Target, comparing the prices or mechanical pencils to make sure we were getting the best deal, we were finally ready to check out. Unfortunately we picked the worst line to wait in because there was this huge lady in a scooter in front of us who insisted in buying four GIANT tubs of cat litter. So we finally got checked out and were ready to leave. Abby called up her sister to come get us and no more than two seconds later her sister called back saying she could not come and get us until the Tornado Warning was over. To which we then looked outside at the downpour. After Abby hung up her phone a Target employee told us over a load speaker that everyone in the store had to gather at the back of the building. So Abby and I made our way to the back of the store by the electronics and we were ushered into an employee only hallway with all of the other customers. And then it dawned on me that I might experience my first Tornado in a Target. And at that moment I felt fear. I have never been scared of storms or Tornadoes before but I guess because I wasn't in the comfort of my home that this struck me with the tiniest bit of fear. Now I wasn't shaking with fear or anything but I was a little bit scared. But before I knew it the Tornado Warning was over and we were free to leave. Abby and I waited outside in the drizzle that was left from the storm and we discussed how cool it would have been if we would have been stuck there for a few hours, and how it would maybe it would have been like a movie and all the customers would start talking and learning about the other peoples lives, and we would leave with a better understanding of the people around us. Unfortunately that didn't happen. The best thing we got out of that experience was free popcorn and bottled water.

Nice To Meet You
So, I have now started this blog post a total of FOUR times and I do hope that this will be the final product because, the pattern of typing followed by holding down the backspace key only to erase everything I have written is really getting under my skin. All four times I have written this I have tried to introduce myself into this blog. But each time I read what I had written it just came off as boring. And that is the last way I want to start this blog out.
As much as I hate to bore you with trivial facts about myself I feel like I have to give you a little insight. So here I go...
My name is Amy and I love to read, dance, sing, write, and act. Unfortunately my acting is being put on hold this year. I love it so much but my shyness is hindering my ability which is unfortunate, but I still work tech for plays at my school. I love music so much. I always have my ipod with me and if I can't find it I go insane. There is a lot more to me than just that I also really like studying religions and American government. I could gone on and tell you more but I won't. You'll just have to continue to read the blog for that.
