I wish I could tell you I had the most exciting day ever. But, that would just be a complete and total lie. But I will tell you about my day anyways. It started off badly because my dad insisted on taking me driving. I'm not a bad driver or anything but I HATE driving with the BURNING PASSION OF A THOUSAND SUNS! It is just too much stress. Just thinking about it makes me feel sick. When I think about driving it seems so silly that I get so stressed out about it. I mean, everyone drives! How hard can it be? I know some people in my grade that are complete idiots and they drive. I'm smart, I'm responsible. You would think driving would be pretty easy and stress free. Right? Wrong oh so wrong.
So, once I was done with driving practice my dad had to drive me out to my work to check the schedule. Which was not bad but I just don't want to think about work either because that is almost more stressful to me than driving. My job isn't hard or anything, but I just started so everything is still pretty new to me. Plus there is soooo much to remember. I have to know how to make everything, and I have to know where to find everything in case we are running low. And ahhhh! Just too much stress.
Later things got a bit better for me though. I met up with Abby and we went to the high school to put stuff into our lockers and just check where our classes were, and what not. When we walked into the school we saw a box that said Free Locker Mates. Now, I am never one to turn down free stuff, and I didn't have a locker mate last year so I thought, "I can see if it fits and if it doesn't no harm, no foul". So Abby and I went to my locker first. We opened it and I looked at my locker and looked at the locker mate. There was no way I thought I could possibly fit it in so I just didn't even try. I made it through last year without one I could go this year without one too. But Abby, that was a whole different story. She was determined to fit her locker mate into her locker. Even if it killed her. So we pushed and pulled and yanked and sweat and when we finally got it in...we had to take it out because we had put it in wrong. And let me tell you it was no treat getting that stupid locker mate out. But, we did successfully extract the locker mate from the lockers steel jaws and place it properly in the locker. Blood, sweat, and tears. But it was worth it. I guess?
